In the Inner Peace state a person’s emotional experience is authentic to the present moment. Emotional activations are reduced to the current experience rather than being blown out of proportion by accumulated past trauma - in other words, your pent up emotions only activate during targeted trauma healing sessions.
The state is achieved by fully merging the heart and mind intelligences (‘brains’), which synchronise a person’s feeling and thinking. The polarisation and its related conflicts between mind and heart end.
The positive effect of having this state is an underlying sense of peace, even during emotionally dramatic situations. A person has the ability to stay calmer during a storm and is able to feel whilst thinking and think whilst feeling, which enhances the way we make decisions.
